In addition to writing music, Elisa Korenne writes award-winning prose, sometimes under her original name, Elisa Korentayer.

North Star Press is publishing her memoir about moving from New York City to New York Mills, a small town in rural west central Minnesota, and finding somewhere, and someone, in the middle of nowhere. Hundred Miles to Nowhere: An Unlikely Love Story has already received attention from literary journals and magazines. Excerpts from early versions of seven chapters have already been published.
